MOSAIC ARTS
CONNECTING PEOPLE THROUGH
THE PERFORMING ARTS
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
"Wouldn't it be cool if..."

In 2010, three friends wanted to do a show.

"Wouldn't it be cool if we could put
together a opera and perform it
at a church or somewhere?"

"Well, I've been thinking about starting
a company for a long time anyway."
" So let's just do it!"

So we did! And in the fall of 2010, Mosaic-Arts was born at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Albany, NY. The three friends? Kelly Hutchinson, Kara Cornell, and Vedrana Kalas.

The show was Orfeo ed Euridice by Gluck and it was an unparalleled success.

We partnered with Nacre Dance company and their founder, Beth Fecteau and were welcomed by the congregation at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Those relationships lasted well past Orfeo and birthed a series of performances that would solidify the company's mission and build lasting relationships between artists that continue to this day.
